The Indian Coast Guard (North-West Region, Gandhinagar, Gujarat) has released an official notification inviting applications for various civilian posts through direct recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply in the prescribed format before the last date.

Eligibility & Age Relaxation

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST – 5 years

  • OBC – 3 years

  • Central Govt. employees with ≥3 years service – up to 40 years

  • No relaxation for EWS

• Posting: Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India.

Selection Process

1. Scrutiny of Applications

2. Document Verification

3. Written Examination (80 MCQs, bilingual – Hindi/English, 1 hour, subjects: English, Maths, GK, Reasoning; no negative marking)

4. Trade/Skill Test (if applicable)

5. Final Merit List – Based on written exam marks

• Fill application in English or Hindi using the format given in the notification (Annexure-I).

• Attach self-attested copies of:

  • Valid Photo ID proof

  • Educational certificates (10th/12th/degree)

  • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) if applicable 

  • Experience certificate

  • NOC (if employed in Govt. organization)

  • Two recent passport size photographs

• Enclose a self-addressed envelope with ₹50/- postal stamp.
